CSF - California Scholarship Federation
CSF recognizes students for high academic accomplishment, citizenship, and community service. Students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades must apply for membership at the beginning of each trimester, using their grades from the previous trimester to qualify. Students achieving membership for six trimesters (at least one trimester with senior grades) graduate as Life Members. Students achieving membership for all eligible trimesters (10th grade through 12th grade) graduate as 100% Members. Senior members are eligible to apply for scholarships from the MCHS CSF Chapter. Attention CSF Sophomores & Juniors:
It's election season! We are seeking a new President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer for the 2026-2027 school year! All members who have completed at least one trimester of CSF can apply to become an officer for the California Scholarship Federation Board of 2026-2027. It's a great opportunity, whether you're a first-time officer or an experienced leader.
- The application includes completing a Google form application and an additional 1-minute video (attached in the Google form) showcasing why you are a good candidate for the board position.
- The deadline for this application is Tuesday, January 27th @ 11:59pm. and there will be no late applications accepted.
We are looking forward to seeing who will be on our new board!

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are eligible to join the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) at Mt. Carmel High School.
Note: 11th and 12th grades can apply for membership at the beginning of each trimester, 10th grade students will be to apply after the 1st trimester.

CSF is a state-wide organization that encourages and honors outstanding high school students who possess high standards in academic achievement, community service and citizenship.
Students in grades 10-12th grade apply for membership at the beginning of each trimester, work hard to maintain a high level of academic achievement by choosing to take rigorous courses and maintaining high grades, and participate in community service.
Students who maintain their academic achievement and service to the community are eligible for chapter based scholarships and recognition at graduation.
