Athletic Training Room (ATR) Hours & Location:
The Athletic Training Room is located in R-6. Right next to the back door of the boys locker room. The ATR is open on regular school days, and typically opens during 5th period for "off roll". The Athletic Trainers will be on campus until the last home competition ends. If the ATR is locked during this time, the ATs could be covering an event or tending to an injured student-athlete. Signage is typically placed on the door with the AT's approximate location. The Athletic Trainers are not on campus, nor is the ATR accessible on the weekends, holidays, or non-school days.
The Athletic Trainer’s availability for Mt. Carmel’s in season athletes are first come, first served. Priority will go to students/teams traveling for away games and then to students/teams with home games. It is strongly encouraged that if a student has 5th period off roll, to see the AT during that time.
EAPs & AED Locations
Mt. Carmel has five (5) AEDs on campus (more to come soon). The Mt. Carmel coaches and custodians have access to the nearest AED for each sport specific venue. The Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for each sport venue is below, noting the nearest AED location.

Visiting Team AT's
If you are visiting Mt. Carmel for the first time and need directions or venue specific access, please contact the Mt. Carmel ATs in advance to allow for accommodations to be made.
During the school year and on regular school days, an Athletic Trainer will be on site for all Mt. Carmel Athletics in-season events. Visiting teams are asked to come prepared to participate (taped, wrapped, etc). If a visiting team student-athlete will need to be prepared on site they should bring their own supplies. Ideally, the Mt. Carmel ATs should be notified in advance by the visiting team's Athletic Trainer of any care that will need to be given prior to participation. Visiting teams will be supplied water and ice for competitions but are asked to bring their own water bottles/cups. If a visiting team student-athlete needs medical treatment during an event, the Mt. Carmel Coach will be able to facilitate calling an Athletic Trainer for assistance.
